Worthy of note today’s performance of Marconi, a UK company for telecommunication infrastructure, with the action who are changing hands at 49.95 pence (+7.4%) in a market that is predominantly negative. The airline, struggling through a difficult restructuring to reduce debt and the recovery in profitability, seems to find favor with investors after a period of endless disappointments began to bet again on the title. Now Marconi shows a performance of over 300% from the lows of two and a half months ago, when the stock was worth 12:25 pence and the company was on the verge of collapse.
