The German energy giant RWE has launched an offer on the American Water Works, a leader in the distribution of water in the U.S.. RWE has offered $ 46 per share for Water Works, at a premium of approximately 35% over the average price of Water Works in the 30 days prior to September 10, valuing the group 7.6 billion U.S. dollars. Title RWE the Frankfurt Stock Exchange today marks a rise of 0.24% to 41.27 euros, after opening a session, however, largely in negative terrain.
